SIGNING SAFELY
A little care goes a long way.
Confirm the sender and the contents. A signing platform cannot make that decision for you.
Recognize who is asking
Expecting a contract from a business you know? Check that the names and subject match your conversation. If the request is a surprise, contact the business through a number or address you already have.
Check the address carefully
Our shared signing address is signingpath.com. Businesses may also use their own connected signing domain. A padlock means the connection is encrypted; it does not prove that a sender or agreement is trustworthy.
Read the full agreement
Check names, dates, amounts, and every obligation before signing. Stop if you see unfamiliar terms, unusual urgency, or instructions that don’t match what you discussed. Contact the sender for corrections.
Keep your signing link private
Your personal link gives access to your signing session. Don’t post it publicly or forward it to someone who should not access your document.
If something feels wrong
Do not sign. Contact the purported sender independently. You can also report a suspicious SigningPath request to our operator. Include the sender’s name and the time of the message, but do not email passwords, API keys, or the full signing link.
